After being out a few days the week before, I completely blew off the date of the 100th day of school!
Luckily, I had put in for copies the night before out of PURE randomness on a few things.
My sweet little brother saved my day by delivering snacks for trail mix fun.
Between the little brother and the ladies I mentioned above, this teacher was saved!
The best thing I have ever put into my classroom is my own colored printer!
I was able to bust out a few activities from each!
I also sweet talked the I.F. into running some copies for me:)
The cute craftivity Cara includes in her packet, turned into an adorable display!
I had to adapt it a bit to meet the requirements needed to post "crafts" in the hallway:)
Such as requiring my kiddos to write a story based on it!
We brainstormed things we have learned in 2nd grade that have made us
"Smart 2nd Grade cookies!"
Then I just added the writing paper behind the cookie craft!
If you'd like the pre-writing sheets, you can download them here.
I fought through the day on Wednesday and Thursday being sick, again.
I was able to get a sub for today, so I took the day off and went into my doctor bright and early.
Cheryl's Sub Tub for "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose"
came in so hand Thursday afternoon as I was fighting to do
sub plans, pick up, and get the heck to my bed as soon as possible!
It may say K & First grade on the listing, but I can easily adapt it for my kiddos.
Do you do class meetings? If not, I would highly suggest it!

LOVE the smart cookies!
