Valentine's Day Wildness

I love, love, love Valentine's Day!
Especially all of the colors.
But every year I forget how long and exhausting the day is!
A few pictures, with little words!
I went simple this year and let the kiddos pick colors, etc.
All teeth are their original work!
Bag is included in this unit, that is filled with much, much more!
If you are wondering why the blue one has no eyes,
I have a few kiddos that take FOREVER!
I can't let things take forever!
I give them time limits, that I extend a few times.
After a few times, sorry!

Some of us handed out our treats to our friends,
while the rest of wrote our letters to our moms or grandmas.
Whoever we are giving our gifts too!
{Pics to come tomorrow. We ran out of time!}
Our party wasn't allowed until the very end of the day,
but I had to leave early to go watch my cousin wrestle at the state meet.
So I wanted all of the "busy" part done for the teacher filling in for me!
Some math with our conversation hearts!
Activities can be found in this packet!
I over planned....I didn't get through everything.
Half of my fun activities are untouched due to being ill and busy few days back.
Oh well.  Life goes on.  They had fun. And they don't know what we didn't get too!:)
I possibly should have paid attention to all of the "great" deals I bought over the last month!
Instead of saving things for later or next year, I gave it to them:)
Nerd Ropes for $.39 cents!  Can't beat that!
Twistable erasers for Target Dollar Spot.
Little push pin pencil and maze heart puzzle from Michael's.
Melted crayons from a co-worker.
My kiddos and I talk a LOT about humor, sarcasm,
and how words don't always mean the same depending on when they are said etc.
Yes, I called myself a "nerd" in the Valentine message I attached.
And they loved it and laughed like crazy!
You can get the label here.
I made these little labels for my god-daughter to give to
her friends taped onto Sunny D juices.
My cousin, who is another 2nd grade teacher attached them to clementines!
I wish I had done this!
You can get the label here!
Save it for next year, I am!
